Some things are worth the wait. Good job CS. Once again you have proved why you are the best: great coverage, best plans,best customer service, and now heading to the top with the best phones. Money well spent. Thanks !!!

So, i followed directions..and the HTC Sync quit working mid upload of the new ROM (didnt touch anything, it just quit). So my phone is stuck with the HTC logo screen at boot up when plugged in, and shows a white screen with 3 androids at the bottom when unplugged from the PC. SO its in essence bricked…I guess I’ll find a store to bring it by tomorrow.

So my Hero update keeps quitting at the “waiting for bootloader” portion. I would call you guys, but obviously my phone is in use :\

Are you using HTC Sync 2.0.40?

Yeah I was, I got it to work finally though. It kept disconnecting on reboot, freezing the phone (pop the battery out to reset). I had to leave the HTC Sync program running in the background and after several attempts it finally installed the bootloader so it stayed connected and installed the new update. It’s great to have 2.1 now!

Don,
Facebook is currently having difficulties with Sync across multiple carriers. As soon as they resolve the issue, we will communicate it here.

I would love to see live wallpaper for the hero. Then i would be 100% happy with this phone.
As to what i have done with my phone.. what can it not do besides the live wallpaper.
